You can get a DSi XL for 100 bucks, also easy to hack and probably the greatest handheld of all time, with an insane library. You’d miss out on 3DS games, but 3DS also has the downside that DS games look way worse on it.

 

Yeah, my 3DS emulator (Lime3DS) works great most of the time but has occasional micro stutters

 

Emulators on iPhone actually support 3DS as far as I know. I haven’t tested it myself yet though.

 

I don’t mean that, that’s normal, I mean the two screens (all workarounds are suboptimal) and the 3D effect (which on New 3DS was really wild).

i loved totk. totally forgot about echoes of wisdom. would like to play, but haven't had a lot of time since the baby was born.

diddy kong racing reboot would be sweet. but i think that was rare… same with starfox right? i’m anxious to see what the next gen zelda looks like whenever that comes around
