Does the camera have super zoom? Who even sits close enough to their console to get a good picture from it? I sit like 12 feet from my TV
all the ads for the camera functionality i've seen either have it sitting adjacent to your TV or on you coffee table plugged into the top of the console as you play it in tabletop mode. i'm assuming it attempts to zoom in if you have it by your TV
Basically to show yourself in game chat or have your face hover around your character in a couple games as far as I know lol
thinking im tapping out at 100 shrines on BOTW, just don't have the motivation to complete all of em. probably gonna do some dragon farming this afternoon and go to the castle tonight to finish it
Haha fair. I have no idea how my attention span was able to power through beating all of the shrines, but I really wanted the armor set. I wish I had kept track of them from the beginning, too, I really struggled figuring out which ones I was missing at the end. Will never do it again.
near the end I was missing 3 and I had to look at both a list online and the map to find which ones were missing and it took forever haha
I had to post a screenshot of my map on reddit for help with the last one lmao. I was never very good playing "Where's Waldo?"
Oh yeah I'm fairly certain I beat Ganon and Champions Ballad before coming close to getting all of the shrines
I have less than 10 in tears. Really fun reason to pop back in and play for a bit. I had a really nice interactive map id have setup next to the screen with my iPad, but I can’t for the life of me find it. I really wish there was a way to track the sign guy. I still want to take a horse along the road across the whole map. My love for that little side quest is abiding lol.
Does the Tears Companion app not have that feature? Really great app if that's not the one you're talking about. Maybe it's Android-only, though.
The app is great! Used it to get all the korok seeds. No way in hell I would have even attempted that without the app. I never found the shrine hunt tedious at all.
Whoever made that app had some serious time on their hands. I didn't play BOTW till maybe 2019 but the Tears app spun up fast
One of my favorite playthroughs of BOTW was when I went on a journey to unlock every tower before taking on any of the Divine Beast stuff. It felt like I was Frodo making my way to Mount Doom. Very fun experience.
I did that on my second playthrough. Knowing how to windbomb at that point made it super easy though lmao. Zoomed off a tall hill straight to that guardian-surrounded tower in Central Hyrule. Very fun.
Loved doing the 120 shrines for BotW but I have no desire to complete any shrines in the depths of sky in TotK
Totk has some good shrines, but there is so much wasted potential. Too many blessing ones where you don't have to solve a puzzle, or those annoying "carry the green crystal" shrine quests
The shrines were the only thing I really wanted to complete. Didn't bother with the memories or Koroks or whatever else
