With that said, this game just isn't among my favorite Zelda titles. The gameplay just hinders the overall experience for me. I spend too much time cycling through inventory and just feeling undecided about which echo I should use. Also, there's not a great mini-game within' this game that I kept going back to. The acorn man didn't do it for me. And the boss fights didn't feel all that fun. I would have preferred if they just made it to where Zelda played like Link and it wasn't about using your wand to generate items all the time. I expected the puzzles to be more challenging since they eased up on action gameplay, but they weren't. I don't even recall much of any puzzles, to be honest. I dunno. I'm happy for those that love the game, but it's a tough one for me to revisit.

My biggest issue with Echoes was that combat eventually just devolved to spamming bomb enemies. Overall, I enjoyed it, but I would've loved something closer to A Link Between Worlds
