Considering the original MM uses the same assets as OoT, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a MM remake as well. With a new game sandwiched in between the two
Yeah I mean it'd be kinda crazy to not do it. But they seemed pretty hesitant to bring it to the 3DS under similar circumstances so who knows
Rhythm Heaven to me just looks like if WarioWare had worse graphics. Shit looks like a Flash animation game. Very weird title to open the summer Direct with.
How do they not make sense? The potential of having a graphically and mechanically upgraded version of like the most critically acclaimed game ever makes total sense. Even if it's essentially the same game it still makes sense, albeit a bit less. The 3DS remakes were great but this is hopefully pointing to a fuller, beefier version of those on current hardware
It's just sucking the soul out of the IP to get money and they're doing it so they can also show us the new LOZ movie and tie them together in the marketing.
Where's a new Punch Out? New F Zero? New Advance Wars? There's literally so much that's just untapped.
I mean, maybe. I don't think I'm doing the opposite as hard as you're doing though. I am pretty cautious, and if it's just a graphical thing then I'm gonna be disappointed a little bit. But to act like these make no sense and why would you even do it is kinda silly and almost looking for a reason to be disappointed, I think. I understand wanting other games and doubting Nintendo, seriously, but to act like this is an affront to the series as of now is not the move IMO
I just have more and more issues these days with what I consider wasting resources and time on old ideas when we could just be making new stuff and the old ones still exist and play well. It would be a different conversation if we didn't have a 3DS version that fixed a ton of stuff and improved the graphics. If it's was a game that has terrible controls and came out on the NES? Sure, I can understand a reimagining, but I am growing tired of rereleases.
they're going to remove the biggoron's sword mini quest because making it across hyrule in 3 minutes would be too hard for modern gamers
I get this. But don't you think enough time has elapsed between the 3DS games and now that, if Nintendo takes it seriously and with proper care, warrants a remake of this classic game? At least enough in your eyes to not think of it as shallow or shitty in any way?
After what happened last time they revived it where they had to push it back over a year because actual wars started breaking out around the world, I think Nintendo is never going to make an Advance Wars again .
