Yeah, I was hoping this was a little more cartoony looking like most Nintendo games. But nonetheless, I’m Jessie Spano level excited about this. I’m very much fine with Nintendo remaking their classics. Also, I think better of the character design when I remember the original Star Fox crew were puppets.
I am day 1 in this regardless of anything. Thinking back on it I think I have beaten Starfox 64 more than I have beaten any other video game in my life. I know this game like the back of my hand.
One interesting thing I have noticed from watching reactions to this: nobody remembers the underwater submarine level, even people who played the original. Everybody was like "is this new??" I guess not lot of people took that path when they played as a kid or something lol
It was funny on Bosman's first impression reaction he was like "He is Fantastic Mr. Fox-ified right now"
Yeah. This might be the game I’ve played through and beaten the most in my entire lifetime. So much fun every time. The alternate paths and dialogue always kept things interesting.
Also I can't wait to play Starfox will good controls. The Switch control layout for Starfox 64 on NSO is wonky and unintuitive as hell
I think I maybe played a bit of the DS remake? But only multiplayer? Otherwise never touched Starfox 64 so I’m interested.
It's easy forget how short this game is. I fired up the NSO version and cleared 3 stages in less than 30 minutes. That's almost halfway to Venom.
games were generally shorter back in the day unless you were a completionist. super metroid takes likes, what, 2 hours if you just run through
I liked that Star Fox 64 was short. I was probably 6 or 7 when I played it a couple years after release. That and Mario 64 were the only games I could beat because they didn’t take long
Some of the tracks for the new Star Fox are already up on the Nintendo music app https://music.nintendo.com/shared/en-US/US/officialPlaylists/2469486e-923d-4111-a6af-e2b639da160a
If true it would be neat if it was done in the same art style as the Fox backstory in the galaxy movie Star Fox Standalone Movie Reportedly in 'Active Development,' Marking Nintendo's Third Rumored Animated Project
I’ve almost got 100 hours into pokopia. I’ve never been much of a “cozy game” person but this one is so rewarding when you build something. Made a seaside motel with an outdoor pool and rooftop hot tub and the Pokemon fucking love it
I feel like Corneria being such a banger of an opening level always had me wanting to play this over and over.
Calling it now Captain Falcon and F-Zero IP will be featured in this movie much like Starfox was featured in Galaxy.

Finished the main story in BotW Switch 2 edition on master mode. First time I completed it, and master mode in general, since I bought the original on Switch in 2017.
