Wow... I bought DK Bananza when the game was released but never got around to playing it until recently. Every time I thought I was close to the end, there was ANOTHER layer. And when I beat Void I thought, no way that's it, but what a great reveal there at the end. That was so much fun. Now I'm excited to go back to each layer and get the bananas I missed.
The last hour of Bananza is the best imo. Never saw that reveal coming or saw a spoiler about it. Thought I was dreaming
Ha, right? Nintendo, much like Mario, loves to collect those coins. Same! It reminded me of how I made it to the end of TotK w/o having seen any spoilers and how incredible that feeling was.
I don’t mean to sound ungrateful because I absolutely love my Switch 2 but if I hear about one more movie before I get a 3D Mario bad things are going to happen.
Prepare for the worst then. The 2028 film will probably be announced before the next 3D Mario with the way Nintendo has been widening their gap with full length Nintendo Directs. Nintendo saw how beneficial the 3 huge directs per year was with Switch 1 and its software sales and decided they don't want to reach that hype anymore for some reason.
It seems reasonable to expect they'll have a Direct for the summer to talk about the back half of the year. There was no need for a Spring Direct because they already announced everything that came out this spring in the Fall Direct.
Still haven't finished Bananza, my ADHD made me forget about it lol. Should jump back in, it was a lot of fun
This really annoys me for reasons I can't adequately define. Maybe it's starting with this game being older than the guy in the video, and continuing with calling Super Mario Land "experimental" when it was pretty much the same gameplay as the NES games, with a couple of added shooter levels. Just kind of reeks of clickbait tomfoolery.
I will say the first SM Land game I had gotten and played with as a kid it did feel a little off compared to the NES games. New enemies, different music, or maybe it was weird seeing Mario in the Game Boy black/white graphics. By the time Land 2 came out, that felt more like a traditional Mario game.
See, I accept this take but it still feels weird to say because Super Mario Bros. 2 was not only way more different, it wasn't even a Mario game in Japan. Land at least keeps the core gameplay and level structure.

I get what that tweet is trying to say, but the Wii isn’t the most successful Nintendo console. Switch 1 has sold 50 million more units and is only 5 million units away from being the highest selling gaming console of all time. Agree that 1 2 Switch and the welcome tour should’ve been free software.
I had so many weekend plans. Instead, I installed a bunch of outdoor showers at the request of my Miis.
Has there been a release date for the new lego Batman game? I see May 22 for other platforms, but nothing for switch 2
I feel like alot people who play strictly on switch don’t mind the questionable performance. They’re just glad to have the game on the go (I do, at least). RE9 had its dips on switch 2, but it was still one of the greatest experiences I’ve had with a RE game since the Wii version of RE4.
