Oh my god we got to the part that cues the end battle and in the dialogue there were telling us all the quests we have to complete before facing Ganon and we stumbled into all of them. The dialogue was really funny, they were essentially all “well… I guess you did all of this already… nice job link” I asked my kid if he’s ready to face Ganon and he’s all “ehhh I should probably work up some courage first”

im genuinely sad its almost over. We have a ton of side quests and probably 20 shrines to get.

 

That first bullet point should have been a day 1 feature, but hell yes

 

Finally reached post game in fire red and the sevii islands. I never played the games on GBA so catching all of these Gen 2 Pokemon is pretty fun. Currently catching every unown letter on island seven. Need to go after Lugia, Ho-oh, and Deoxys soon

 

The boost to 1080 on Switch 2 for Switch games in handheld is such an improvement. MLB looks a lot better, excited to try out more games

I had to download the newest update in "System" in the settings, then:

1. Select System Settings on the HOME Menu.
2. Scroll down through the System Settings menu and select System.
3. Scroll down on the right and select Nintendo Switch Software Handling.
4. Select Handheld Mode Boost to enable or disable this setting.

 

I played Mario kart world for the first time tonight and I won

 

Man it would be amazing if Pokopia had a damn undo button for the amount of times I've accidentally fucked shit up by picking things up by mistake lol

 

That and the storage system are the two main complaints I have

 

same for my partner. they should've been there from launch, but i imagine a quality of life update will provide some reasonable upgrades

 

Yeah, it's impossible to remember where you stored each item when you throw things into a container in several different areas haha.

 

Good God, today was definitely the most amount of hours I've put into Pokopia haha. I think I sunk like 7 hours in. Really fun stuff. Just finished up my second zone (the beach) with level 5 and Poke Center built. So stoked on the Lapras transformation.
Gotta say though, this game is hella dark for a kids game between what happened with Peakchyu and Mosslax. Humans straight up deserting all Pokemon is fucked haha.

 

In the final zone at 25 or more hours played. My mining zone is such an ugly mess lol but I just did the bare minimum to get through it and open the Poke Center. So happy to have the glide ability.

 

my partner just completed the main story last night. he's got big plans for the postgame. we weren't aware that the GameShare feature for this game in particular supported wireless Switch 1 play (since we only have one Switch 2), so i think we're gonna try doing that later using my personal Switch 1 as the second console.

 

Man I had the idea to keep all my poke dolls together but when I went to retrieve my Pikachu one from Peakychu's house he had a full blown panic attack and I felt too bad and put it back.

I am getting guilt tripped by a virtual Pokemon.

 

You should take better care of your imaginary friends.

 

GameShare with Pokopia is honestly pretty solid if you're in close proximity to the host system.
