Insane that they are just dropping release dates and overview trailers on social media for big first party games instead of having a Nintendo direct. You would think Nintendo directs draw in more viewers. I sometimes don't see a trailer that drops on their twitter for a couple days but I'd be aware instantly from a direct.

 

I’d imagine the drop has to do with them releasing the final Galaxy movie trailer yesterday, it had Yoshi in it quite a bit.

 

They've done this before. They usually share the information a few times on different platforms at different times. Sometimes they do it because they don't want to take up more time than necessary in a Direct on games they've already talked about in previous directs. Then they just do a quick snapshot of it with the release date in the Direct.

 

Maybe they don't want to show you anything before it's ready, Oakhurst.

 

Loved OG SNES Yoshi's Island and really liked Crafted World for Switch. Will be playing this one.

Im not a cozy game guy, but my kid and wife are having the time of their lives with their own independent experiences and the dialogue is so silly and fun.

 

Was a bit skeptical about the new Yoshi game, but it looks great!

 

I’m also not really a cozy game person and my knowledge of Pokémon mostly stops at the original 150 as a kid.

It’s also the most pure joy I’ve felt playing a video game in years and if you own a Switch 2 it’s borderline negligent to not give it a chance at this point

 

I am a cozy game person, but I’m probably not going to play Pokopia because I'm too invested in my Animal Crossing island.

 

I'll pick up Pokopia and probably just ditch AC at this point. After accidentally losing my 180 hour island in my switch to the OLED, I've made decent progress but it just feels like a slog now

 

I don’t play either, but I would 1000% be more excited about Pokopia over AC. Watched along as my wife and kid do the rain dance task and the game is really wholesome and whimsical. The Magikarp flopping all over the map is so funny and the Pokémon dialogue is peak stuff. I love that there’s the text box but then they still make the same classic video game noises.

 

I put so many hours into ACNH during the pandemic and can confidently say Pokopia is a better game

 

literally starting terraforming and redoing my ACNH island a few weeks ago, so I'll probably see that through before I pick up pokopia

 

I'm only 40 hours into ACNH. Need to put in at least 500 before I can try out Pokopia.

 

I spent so much time on Animal Crossing during the pandemic that I never want to touch it again

Lol definitely part of it. One of those months I had like 80 hours alone into it

 

I just hit 1,000 hrs on AC a few weeks back, but I’m also still missing items and fruit, so I keep going.
