ended up pre-ordering the cardboard Virtual Boy attachment. looks like it'll have foam padding for carefully inserting the console into it, so i guess i don't have to worry about scratching the screen (still need to pick up a screen protector). if we end up liking it, i'll consider picking up the plastic one if they still have it, but i definitely think there's a benefit of not having to lean over your coffee table/desk to view the console with the cardboard version (with the trade-off being that you have to hold onto the console at all times instead of setting it down and using your own controller).
My son's birthday is in a couple weeks, was thinking of getting him the Switch 2 version of Kirby and the forgotten land. He loves the original switch 1 version, just didn't know if the extra stuff was worth the price tag.
Oblivion Remastered on Switch 2 is an immediate must buy for me. Oblivion was my favorite game in high school. I have actually never played a Fallout game so maybe I will get the Switch 2 version.
I’ve been playing MIO on my Switch 2 and experienced a crash midway through a challenging platforming gauntlet near the endgame. This is apparently a known issue and a fix is in the latest patch (1.2) that’s still pending approval in the eshop. Just a heads up for anyone else playing it.
free Switch 2 upgrades for Subnautica and Below Zero coming in a week. thank God this is happening, because i love these games and they could benefit from better optimization and a graphics boost. Subnautica, Subnautica: Below Zero reveal new Nintendo Switch 2 Editions
I wonder if we’ll get a Switch 2 upgrade for Luigi’s Mansion 3 (the best looking first party Switch game btw) or if they won’t bother since LM4 is around the corner (cope)
i'm curious what else they could add to justify a Switch 2 upgrade. maybe an additional story or game mode?
I’d be fine with just a technical upgrade with better framerates. There are moments where the game staggers when there are too many ghosts on screen.
here for it. maybe just a free patch would be alright, but i wouldn't be surprised if they dropped it as a paid upgrade pack with some other functionality
no chance in hell it's a new AC game (especially since the 3.0/Switch 2 update is only a month old). they're probably doing some sort of promotion for the new version.
Went looking for a picture of Mike Jones from StarTropics with a slingshot and found this instead and I can't unsee it.
My cope is telling me it’s Squirtle (blue), Bulbasuar (green), Pikachu (yellow), and Charmander (red)
got tracking for the cardboard Virtual Boy last night. seems like others are getting both models in right about now. can't really do anything with it other than some of the VR modes on older games. will be curious to see how it works out.
Posted up with the flu. Got up the courage to face the floating coliseum down in the depths in tears. Good god this game is relentless. The battle and prize is unreal. I think one of the best things the open world Zelda games bring is the pure terror when you face certain enemies in the beginning and then slowly working up the gull to throw down. I’ve never had an experience like that in another game before.
My son's at his mom's and his switch lite won't let him play a virtual game card he just bought. Says it's still paired to my switch 2 and trying to connect to it. Is there a quick/easy fix to this? Sorry if I'm using the wrong terminology at all. I'm out of my depth.
What's still paired, the Switch Lite or the game card? Like, is the game card installed on your Switch 2 and has to be sent to the Switch Lite?
So, he bought it just now on his switch lite, he says. And he's at his mom's an hour away. So, he said his switch lite is paired to my switch 2.
