Yeah that spiky rock clump on them is their weak point ;) been a while but I think you can stun them by hitting that area with an arrow
I realllyyyy had that scratch to play a turn based game so I decided to dust off my switch and play three houses again and maybe get more in it last time I got 15 hours in and stopped
Lynels are pretty easy once you get the rhythm down though. The only challenge is weapon degredation at that point
Yeah but you ain't beating a Lynel fresh outta the Great Plateau with three hearts, not even a full stamina wheel, using rusty swords and Boko spears and shit lol
Very true lol. I was able to beat the one before the Waterblight, though with just a few extra hearts and a dream on my recent replay
I feel that. I'm like "but I never got good at Dead Cells" I'm never gonna get good at Dead Cells, but I still play
Feel the same way about Hades. I tried playing again recently so I could get Hades II and I don't think I am ever going to beat this game.
Hades 2 and Mario Kart World are the ones I'm playing the most rn. The first Hades was so damn hard. It took me forever. I had a blast though. It really got me through a tough time. I got really sick and lost a bunch of weight. But I beat Hades. Maybe if I get really sick again for a few months, I'll beat the sequel. I love Hades 2, but I really miss my bow from the first game. I was unstoppable with that damn thing.
I also feel the same about Hades. I got Hades II for Christmas, and I don't know if I'll ever get to it.
Like I heard some people beat it in 15 tries. I am close to attempt #30 and I haven't made it past the Hydra boss on the second level. I still even will lose to Megaera sometimes. I have unlocked all the weapons though.
Think it took me 30 times to get out the first time. But after that I was able to get out pretty regularly. are you switching up your builds with the mirror of night?
Did the first “dungeon” in TOTK and I can’t believe I’m saying this but it probably is a superior game to BOTW. It took a long time but the unbridled joy and exploration is happening the way it did with BOTW. Also a lot of gripes I had that made settling in hard have significance to the story in a surprising way. Felt so satisfying to conquer the Rito quest without looking it up. I’ve only spent probably an hour in the depths, I think I’m going to do a deep dive this week. I’m excited to eventually pick up BOTW and do a play through in a year or two and see how it hits me after completing tears. I have it in the back of my head to complete every mainline Zelda game during the switch 2 life cycle.
Rito quest was a blast in TOTK. I won't say which one but there was one quest/dungeon that was a bit of a let down to me. It's the absolute easiest Zelda dungeon and boss I've ever played. Pretty solid dungeons otherwise, although I still haven't beaten TOTK
if it's the one i'm thinking of (Mucktorock), i have to agree. that was one of the quicker boss battles for me.
Yep that's the one. And not even just the boss battle, the entire temple took no brain effort to solve the puzzles haha
same on my end, although i set out to unlock all of the shrines before i took on any bosses, so it was super easy for me to even get there too (which in a way is part of the challenge itself)
finished the main story for Odyssey last night. such a fun and inventive game. i think we're gonna explore the post-game content every once in a while as we do have other games we want to play, but the goal is to eventually complete the game in its entirety.
I played it on switch one right when it came out and thought it was fun very visually fun but a little lacking compared to remembering playing 64, but this year my kid and I played and we’ve been GRINDING power moons and I can’t believe how much bang for your buck there is in the post game. lol playing with him has been so wholesome.
I heard online that revisiting a partially completed run with the switch 2 updates really gets people back into the game.
(re)started Cyberpunk last night. played it for a while on GeForce Now way back in the day and enjoyed it, but the lag kept me from progressing. works amazingly on Switch 2, but man, i was pretty rusty during the tutorial. might attempt it again later tonight just to brush up on some of the combat mechanics more. was also not aware that the Switch 2 version has HDR support and runs at 1440p (it also bumped my refresh rate to 120Hz, even though i think it's locked at 30fps in quality mode when docked), so it all looks great too.
