During the N64/GameCube days I had a bunch of guides. Pokemon Stadium, Luigi’s Mansion, Pokemon Gold/Silver, etc.

 

Same. Versus Books were the best

I miss real handhelds I could put in my pocket

 

When was the last time a handheld fit in the average pocket? GB advance SP?

 

I feel like a lot of DS models except for the original fat one and and XL model were pocket-ready.

 

There’s no way I could put a DS in my pocket and still be comfortable walking around. DS Lite, MAYBE. I never tried. None of the others though.

 

3DS fit in mine, PSP, Vita and DSlite fit in mine.

A steam deck does not and the Switch 2 definitely won't either.

 

How deep were your pockets??

 

Money wise? Not very unfortunately.

 

I have never put any handhelds in my pockets. They belong in backpacks. I did always feel better carrying them around if they were clamshells, I always worry about the Switch, because my case is not hard.

 

Og gameboy fit in the jncos perfectly fine. So did the saga game gear. The ds. 3ds. Switch.
All that the same time.

 

I used to carry the OG switch in my backpack when I was in college and take it to a friends dorm after classes. Eventually the area near the fan bent and it wouldn’t be able to play docked for more than 10 minutes before overheating.

 

Game Boy Pocket is what you can play if you want a handheld in your pocket. It’s literally in the name

 

PSP Go. I hacked it or whatever and it was amazing.

 

GameBoy Advance SP could fit in some pockets. The initial Advance was a bit bulky

 

So an announcement is imminent, right?
