I haven't played Tunic, but isn't that more of a Zelda-type game? There's no combat in Fez and it's more akin to a puzzle-collectathon than anything else so I'm a little lost by your statement.
Yes, but also it will make some sense if you play it (which I very highly recommend - potentially my favorite game of all time)
Bought: Switch 2, MK, DK, Pro Controller 2, and a Micro SD.I think it's a good start. Should hopefully be here before new year's.
oh wow you’re right, it was N64. Forgot that’s what I used to play on N64 all the time lol. That and Wave Race
Damn the $100 Amazon card I got for Christmas only covered like the taxes on it and most of the SD card lol I think everything in total cost me out of pocket about $670 when you include Switch Online sub and $100 off.
we haven't upgraded to the new controller yet, but i still have the original one and it works very well, especially for rumble. will try to grab the new one at some point.
Dang how much in taxes? My state doesn't have sales tax, even for online orders. I always get surprised by the price when I buy something in another state haha
In total for the switch, 2 games, pro controller, and SD card the sales tax was like $47 on $670 order. For a total of about $720. With the Amazon gift card brought it down to $620. With the $50 Online sub made it grand total of $670 out of pocket.
Anyone ever had issues buying digital games from your phone? I keep getting the 'requested page could not be found ' error
Only report I see is that it only sold 3,000 physical units in Japan two weeks after release. Just a third of what Dread did in Japan in the same time period. So not good, in Japan at least. It's received a pretty big marketing push in the US so it might be doing better here.
Yep switch 1 pro controller is great to have for a 2nd player. Makes it a lot easier when i play with my wife cause she struggles with the joy cons haha
So if I own the digital version of the Skyrim base game on Switch 1 I would just need to pay $20 for the Switch 2 upgrade?
I think so but look up videos and make sure it's worth it. The upgrade has gotten hammered for being very lazy on a few counts. I think input lag is a big issue too if I recall
Maybe. I see now the Switch 2 upgrade is free if you already have the Anniversary Edition upgrade. The Switch 1 Anniversary Edition upgrade is currently on sale on the eshop for $10. Tempted to just get it now, but maybe I will wait until the fix the input lag stuff with a patch.
Bonanza is great. Played a couple hours with my kid today. co-op is really bad, but the game is stellar platforming. Tears of The Kingdom took a couple hours to get to Hyrule, and my wife was setting up her island on Animal Crossing. We go home by family every other year. This year was a solo family Christmas and we all had a blast playing games together. We got a switch 1 used so we can have a couple games going at once and it’s pretty stark how much nicer the Switch 2 is.
Fantasy Life i is 25% off and it just received some free DLC if anyone is looking for their next cozy game obsession. It’s been perfect for when I need a break from Hades 2 runs and it’s the best tv binging companion I’ve played in a while.
I just picked up the Switch 2 bundle with Mario Kart and got the downloads code cards for Pokemon Z and Hades 2. Excited to set it up and play tonight.
Got a nice haul for Christmas this year Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 Pokémon Legends: Z-A Switch 2 version Kirby Air Riders Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment Switch 2 pro controller
