I am on my phone so I can’t quite give quote all of them, but after silksong’s charming npcs that added heaps of flavor to the world, a bunch of annoying sidekicks that you have to rescue and protect so they populate the game’s hub doesn’t sound like it’s *it*.
Just watched a video and there's no way Samus wouldn't blow that guy's head off within three minutes This is baffling
Dread is definitely my favorite Metroid. The Primes I haven't played a lot of but I've played every other one
Just watched the overview for Prime 4. It looks good, but something I’d rather try out or rent before going $70 in.
Metroid looks...fine. I want to support Nintendo, but I’m not sure I’m gonna get it, especially with that $70 price point.
i gotta decide if i'm gonna get Kirby or Metroid cause i AIN'T spending $140 for both (and Nintendo ain't EVER dropping the price so i'd have to wait for a 30% off sale at MOST like a year from now)
might pick up Metroid for my partner for Christmas, even though i was originally contemplating the Galaxy 2-pack. still have a lot on my list peripheral-wise to acquire for the system (a microSD Express card, new Pro controller, etc.)
My kid and I beat the story for Odyssey. Cannot express enough how amazing this game was co-op. I played it when it came out before he was born and just did the story. We are aggressively going for power moons and having so much fun. I can’t believe they dont market this as a good coop game more. It was so much fun. Just engaging enough for him so he’s not just watching but not so challenging that you can’t make your way through the story.
I’ve never played the originals. Stoked to grab the remake and then decide if I want to jump in on 4 after. For anyone who has played BOTW and Tears need some feedback. I am jumping back in around Christmas. BOTW is by far my favorite game of all time. I completed it once when it came out and then did every side quest I could find on a second play through probably 5 or 6 years ago. I have never played Tears through. Should I do BOTW again and then Tears or jump back into tears? I have heard that once you play the sequel BOTW is not as impactful. Basically wondering if I should run it back one more time without the context of tears to preserve the magic.
