Here’s what I don’t know, and if anyone knows better please correct me: is there any upside in using the full fat 4K textures if you end up upsdaling from a lower resolution anyway? Is there any way to pass on the extra information to the upscaler? How would I even google this lol
it does ring a bell, and I do think that Smart Delivery was supposed to do that, but now it just makes sure you get the correct version of the game for the console you own, it doesn't really factor in anything else from what I understand.
I think they said that One X can make the 4K version of a game look better on a 1080p screen than a 1080p version would look by downscaling it in a special way, if you understand what I mean. I think that is what you mean? Lol or similar anyway
I’m a psychotic collector when I actually have money and play games more, so I already know the internal storage is not going to be be nearly enough for me. My OG switch (I don’t remember the base storage) and my 1tb micro sd are pretty much maxed out. And a lot of the bigger games I own physically. So Nintendo has no shot at winning with me on that one. Still gonna get one as soon as I can though. lol
There’s something wrong with my DSi, so I replaced the battery to see if that fixes it. So now I have to play it for extended periods of and I put in Super Princess Peach. Still fun!
The cat really is out of the bag with the Switch 2 so I’m hoping for an official announcement this month. I love my Steam Deck and have hailed it as the gaming saviour for me so I’m very curious about the Switch 2. Just please don’t drop the OLED screen Nintendo.
It's the first game in the Erdrick Saga so it's as good a point as any. Although after the first three games the series becomes more like Final Fantasy with no story links that I'm aware of.
