Legit came here to make jokes about a fire emblem announcement but then we actually got one so I'm happy

 

Most announcements were for "2026" with no date or time frame. Some were Spring.

No Star Fox, FZero, Animal Crossing, New Mario, Zelda, or Earthbound. Just whack that we'll have to wait til next year to find out what the big hitters are for 2026 and 2025 is mostly bare with the exception of Metroid.

 

My only beef is that Nintendo cherishes the Virtual Boy's legacy more than StarTropics.

 

Ok no one is talking about THE BIKE in prime 4???

 

Prime 4 kind of looked rough, and that open section looked hella empty so I’m getting a little cautious with it

 

Ok this Pokémon farming/crafting game also looks neat

 

Not that anyone wants it delayed further, but I find it a little surprising they won't release remasters of Prime 2 and 3 before 4 is out. Probably plenty of people out there (including me) who loved the first remaster but haven't ever played the subsequent games.

I never see anyone talking about cool shit like this from these directs and it makes me sad.

 

Even if the direct didn't announce many 2025 games, I'll still be more than happy with Galaxy 2 and Pokemon Z-A

 

Got Galaxy 2 and release dates for MP4 and Hades 2 so I'm pretty happy overall. I'm hoping Galaxy 2 is available separately but I doubt it knowing them. I'm also excited to try out the roguelite mode in the DKB DLC eventually.

I suspected there wasn't another big first party release coming this year and I'm very curious as to what's on the docket for next year. I would bet on a new Animal Crossing.

Right?? I legit thought they were gonna announce a Metroid racer instead of a Prime release date.

There were some good things announced, but I don’t think any of them will sell systems to casual gamers like Animal Crossing or Mario Kart DLC would.

 

Damn, I never really kept up with Star Force because it felt just different enough from BN that it didn't click with me. Definitely going to pick this up and give it another shot!

 

Now just give us the Megaman Legends collection

 

That bike gameplay in Prime looked pretty rough. Its still my most anticipated for the rest of the year but at this point I'm a bit worried it's going to be Prime 3 all over again. Probably the most disappointed I've ever been in a game and I still think about how bad it was every couple months.

 

It looked so empty when you were riding that bike.
