A Wario post is confirmation enough for me haha I mean everything in those pictures lines up with everything we’ve heard
- USB C soldered onto the board - Seems to be the same cartridge reader module as Switch 1, also soldered onto the board (that's good), so BC as promised is a given - no headphone jack in sight (for now) - the serial number and model number of every part match up with all the credible leaks - a really old, slow, big and hot nvidia GPU - 2x6GB LPDDR5X based on that: - performance docked will be a bit above PS4 - performance undocked will be... questionable. I hope the screen isn't 1080p I'll tell you that because we're looking at a 7watt TDP.
it just means it's a needlessly underwhelming piece of hardware that we'll have to ride out 8 years on. and it's not even just the performance, it'll chew through battery, be unnecessarily hot OR extremely underutilized esp. in portable mode, so that if we do get a higher resolution screen, that's where all the performance gains will be going to. (and at that wattage, DLSS can't really help)
no, Might even be 459. Only tentpole titles, so the ones you actually want. but it's mostly because the cartridges will hold a lot more data.
Surely this will be revealed before the end of February. I need to know more about Legends Z-A on Pokemon Day
Yeah, and tbh, PS4 performance on a handheld is still pretty fucking solid I'm ok with 720p handheld. I mainly play docked, anyways.
I don’t care if it’s 720p or 1080p handheld. I just wish we’d have the option to get an OLED screen at launch. Forcing us to play on an LCD after using the OLED switch for years is going to look horrible
