Spent a good chuck Saturday jailbreaking my Switch 1 and of course the first thing I did was install a GBA emulator and run FireRed lol.
Not too difficult actually. Only thing you really need to buy for it is a RCM switch if your system is not patched, but those are only like $6. I had to redo the process once due to fucking around with settings. This was the video I used as a walkthrough that I recommend.
I know these things are easily googleable lol but what's the benefit of doing this? Just to run a bunch of emulators? Can it run N64???
I'm mainly using it to play Switch roms. I haven't looked too much into emulators on it besides the GBA one.
so… how would one go about hooking up a mouse to my Switch 1? I had this game as a kid and I have a lot of fond memories, particularly the music, so I’d like to revisit this.
Only bummer for a switch 1 user is I imagine you can't really use the kick stand if you're putting a USB in the bottom
now that I think about it, I probably last had a mouse 5 years ago for a job I got laid off from. Since then I’m just used to laptop touch pads and my iPad.
