This makes me remember how good the boss battles were in Odyssey. Easily the most thought they ever put into them in the Mario games
Totally. And it feels like some of these boss battles in DK try to encourage you to use some new mechanics, but you can easily just brute force your way through them in 30 seconds just mashing the punch button. Idk haha it just doesn't feel very well thought out. Having a great time regardless.
Pretty sure I beat a challenge room in Bananza that was a reference to the seminal DK 64 minigame, Beaver Bother. Also known as the most broken part of a decently busted game.
If I look at my phone too long in the car I get sick so I imagine playing a game would only be worse. It’s a real problem.
i just learned that iphones have an accessibility feature for people who get sick while looking at a screen in the car. doesn't help your switch, but fun fact!
Wrapped up Bakeru, which was an absolute delight. Getting started on DK Bananza and this game is so very much my shit already haha. Gonna be a great time
https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/s/b2XuMYXYWI The Jamboree TV upgrade for Super Mario Party Jamboree is a mess. When you buy the upgrade pack, the game effectively gets divided into three modes and you can select the following options from the game's main menu: * Super Mario Party Jamboree (literally just the base game) * Jamboree TV * GameShare Seems logical and fine right? Well, it turns out that the "Super Mario Party Jamboree" mode is not upgraded in *any* way, its resolution remains 720p in handheld mode and 1080p in docked mode. All the new content and the upgraded visuals are **only** accessible through the Jamboree TV mode. It is very confusing because you can play vanilla Mario Party in Jamboree TV mode which upgrades the visuals but you won't have access to Pro Rules or other content from the base game like Koopa Run. You must open the un-upgraded Super Mario Party Jamboree mode to access that content. The Jamboree upgrade sounds like a mess...
Lmao tbh I wrote my comment before pasting the quote in and didn't notice that I basically quoted the quote
Anyone know if MKW has local wireless multiplayer between two devices without the use of wifi? When I Google it I just get an unhelpful "yes, you can locally play split screen on one device". Going on a work trip and my coworker also has a Switch 2. Not sure what games we can play together without resorting to shitty hotel wifi. And I guess what about games like Smash, Mario Party, etc.
Yep, it's the Wireless Play option in the MKW menu - How to Start a Multiplayer Game (Mario Kart World) | Nintendo Support
What do you think the likelihood is of us getting a full 3D Yoshi's island game in the years following the second Mario Bros Movie?
