I bought a big power bank for my upcoming flight but it only charges at 15W so idk if my switch is just gonna drain slower instead of actually getting a charge when it's plugged in lol
To be fair to them way too many third party docks fried Switches and you know those people ended up complaining to Nintendo about it lol
Yeah but that's because Nintendo refused to follow the USB-C protocol standard haha it's a standard for a reason
Switch 2 is now the fastest selling console of all time, it overtook the PS4. It’s almost as if launching with Mario Kart was smart.
Someone convince me it's not worth it to spend $200 on a Windwaker edition Wii U from the comic book store in town
So I started playing Mario Kart World. I really haven't played a Mario Kart game for realsies since Mario Kart 64. I maybe dabbled in Super Circuit, but nothing much since then. So the first thing I need to get out of the way is that I fucking suck at even basic things, like drifting. I haven't bothered with the regular mode yet, the free roam is what caught my attention, and while it definitely is not a replacement for a new Diddy Kong Racing, I am really enjoying so far how much there is to see and do, and for a newbie newberson like me, the tasks the P-Switches give are challenging enough to provide me satisfaction upon completion and I feel like they're helping me come to grips with the controls. I do not like the flying controls, gonna be honest. I do not feel in control at all and I get that's probably by design, and it's how flying controls work in a lot of games, so I just gotta suck it up. I think wall racing is pretty neat though. I also don't like the map. It feels like it's not really helping me find my way around and I suspect it's only primarily meant to be a way to warp to specific locations than to actually keep track of where you are. The minimap is... not great, IMO. But then again that might be me trying to think of this like an adventure and I don't think that's how Nintendo meant me to approach this, so there's a conflict. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with it and I had to really fight to put the controller down so I can go to sleep. I can see myself popping this in to tinker around every once in a while, just exploring the open road. I have such a huge backlog of Switch games and this is actually the first time I've played anything in... a long while. I don't know if I'll put Mario Kart aside to do something else or keep playing it, but it was nice to actually game instead of just organizing them.
