Lmao I was reading today how some insiders were saying they haven’t heard about a direct so I knew we’re getting one lol
I guess it's a safe bet we won't get a traditional direct until after DK releases. I don't see them waiting until September, maybe mid August.
Picked up Bloomtown on sale. Beautiful game (looks great on Switch 2 screen) and a lot of fun. It’s an indie JRPG with like Stranger Things, Persona and Stardew Valley vibes. Mechanics are very Persona.
My switch 1 pro controller keeps disconnecting saying it’s dead, and then I connect it and it has a full battery. Nintendo really wants me to buy the new controller lol
I promise you that game sucks 0% (but also what moose said, imo except for “oh wow they pulled it off” it looks like a dismal experience for even remotely discerning players. Especially the latter half.)
Ah okay. From what I have heard the port is somewhat impressive when playing on handheld because of the “can’t believe this is on handheld” effect, but less impressive on TV because you have other versions to compare it to. Since you do not have that comparison, I think it’ll do the job? Also I’m not judging you at all, I was just curios.
Expectations are key so it’s good for me to not have any based on other platforms haha I haven’t watched gameplay footage. I’ve only seen trailers and thought “that’s a vibe”
Frankly just tired of people passing (positive) judgement of games after very little time with them, especially when they’re triple dipping and the switch version is just a novelty for them. not subtweeting anyone here.
I would be excited if my Best Buy preorder for the Switch 2 which has said pickup for today actually happened
Vincent/HDTVtest finally dropped his HDR configuration video for anyone else that's been curious about optimal settings for their TV
