Switch 2 being backwards compatible with the absolutely iconic Switch 1 library and the potential of what’s in store in the coming years of console exclusives combined with drastically more 3rd party support than the Switch 1 had is going to make this thing have one of, if not the best, library of games in the history of gaming.
I don’t think it will have drastically more major publisher 3rd party support, and I also think it doesn’t matter
I worry it’s just all going to be ports. Great for people that missed it, but I usually want new games on a new console
I will say, as fun as GameCube is with the GameCube controller, Windwaker is not really the best to play in handheld mode. The thumb sticks are suuuper sensitive, it's hard to be precise with anything
Called a Walmart a few towns over just to check switch 2 availability and the person in electronics asks: “what is that” lol
Agreed. As someone who also has a PS5, I've already played most of the stuff they're likely going to port over. Hopefully they strike a balance between ports and new Nintendo original stuff. Orrrrr, just give me a new Animal Crossing and I'll be fine.
That’s definitely gonna be 99% of it, the Switch 2 is not a Series S and most games by major publisher target that and equivalent PCs a minimum, so new games are gonna be the exception EDIT: AAA games that is
I also got Warioware Get it Together, it was on sale on amazon for 30 bucks and playing Warioware on the GBA app on Switch has me itching for some more.
