The water in Mario Kart looks so good

 

My Mario Kart arrived, but not the system. Guess i’ll just stare at the box for a few days.

 

Why did you buy them separately instead of the bundle? Just wanted a physical copy?

 

hope i get to wishlist Mina the Hollower and FF Tictacs on my Switch, whenever Nintendo gets around to adding them on there

Yup, and when I was rapidly refreshing Target’s website a few months back the bundle wouldn’t add to cart

 

Guess I should have learned my lesson from the first switch and put a screen protector before even placing it in the dock because it hasn’t left the dock since I took it out of the box and damn my screen is pretty scratched up. Just put a screen protector on but that GameStop one is kind of trash

Am I missing something with MKW Grand Prix? I have read over and over again that you drive to the next course but it feels like I’m not doing that? Once the race is over I just hit Next and it takes me to the next course. Feels the same as MK8…?

Maybe it’s bc we are doing multiplayer Grand Prix

 

That’s about the knockout race. I did a solo Grand Prix and it did the same as you said.

I've so far played MK as a penguin, a snowman, a bee, and Donkey Kong. The character choices are pretty fun haha

 

I put down 2 after around 25 hours. It’s good, but yeah it can be tedious and the job system is a little much while being badly tuned. Excited to try the first one because I’ve heard much better things

 

Mario kart is gorgeous. Form factor of the joycon still makes holding a down for so long is pretty painful for me. could just be my completely fucked up hands

 

Went to a store and bought one just now since I have still no update from the postal service/store. If it ever arrives I’ll just send it back.

Part of my Mario Kart World download code itself scratched off with the foil, so I'm now unable to read or use it, so that's fun.

 

My friend who is very hardcore into MK plays with auto acceleration on for this reason, might be a QoL improvement for you if you weren’t aware of the option!

 

Mario Kart is so good, but the decision to make the drive between courses such a bit part of each course, at the detriment to each actual course meaning you only get 1 lap, is kinda weird. I get the whole World aspect and the drive between is cool, but feels like the ratios could be swapped. Hard to get better at each course with only having 1 lap/ go at it per Grand Prix.

 

What are the odds that a Switch 2 could easily be bought/ordered in 6 months?
