Nintendo should blow its load all at once instead of giving people something new to play every month.
This is how all launches are for consoles yall, one big first-party title and a bunch of random third party shit. In what world would they launch all of their big titles on launch?
I’m a Metroid fiend and will forever be upset that it wasn’t a launch title. Hell, we still don’t even have an official date!
I just think a multiplayer racing game is a weak first party title to launch your console with that's all. It's a good game and I like Mario Kart, but it's very different from launching with a new Mario, Zelda, DK, etc.
I do subscribe to the theory that TOTK was originally supposed to be a Switch 2 launch title but because of a bunch of factors, mainly chip shortages, that the release of the console got super delayed and they just ended up releasing it on Switch 1
I agree, I don't like Mario Kart, I most likely won't buy it but its also the best selling game franchise for Nintendo so I understand why they did it.
TOTK as a launch title would had been THE most hyped I would have ever been for a console launch for sure.
It's funny because if you think about it, if Breath Of The Wild hadn't been moved to a shared release, Mario Kart 8 would have been the launch title. Although it still is the Switch's best-selling game, so...
Im playing Bravely Default and I almost didn't buy it because i've only played BD2, which I liked but didn't love. Holy hell the first one is SO much better than the second one.
I feel like I’m having a very different experience than everyone else with Free Roam lol. I just played for over an hour on a tiny section on the south of the map and have found six blue switches, four peach coins, caught two nabbits and found a secret area in a pipe. I’m honestly shocked at how fun this is as a single player game lol
This is so good to hear. Free roam has been my most anticipated part of the game since it was announced.
I don't think there's anything out there yet anyways, but hopefully some day soon I think I heard GameStop is working on a dongle that you'll need your own charger for, but it's not a dock (which I would prefer for cooling), and will still be $60-70
got a fancy new switch and Mario Kart but I'm over hear having a good time with Star of Providence. I was waiting to pick up a bunch of indies on my list for the switch 2.
I was just telling a buddy today I’m actually really happy that we have DK to look forward to next month and then Metroid. Gives me more things to look forward to, and there will certainly be at least one major holiday game.
