Well I'm all ready now. Just need the console to get delivered on fucking Saturday.

 

Just realized that my Switch 2 didn't fully download all games and updates until I actually loaded the virtual cards or put my physical cards in... down to 19 gb and counting lol. Just ordered the 512 GB ONN SD card

 

This reminds me of when I was going to get GoldenEye on Nintendo 64, and then thought I should get the guide to prepare but my mom would only let me get one so I actually chose to get the guide. I never did get the game.

 

What are the chances a store has it in stock tomorrow after work? I get a bonus tomorrow…

 

Walked into target at 8:20 this morning and got one, no pre order! I’m shocked!

Arceus is way worse with all the text. Scarlet, besides all the terrible bugs and graphics, is one of the better modern Pokemon games.

Sword and Shield should be erased.

 

Too true. My UPS truck passed my apartment like 4 times today haha still waiting for my controller

 

Sword and Shield was definitely too hand-holdy but I don't think it was as bad as people make it out to be tbh

 

Violet definitely performs wayyy better now. Gonna have to reset my game because I don't remember anything about where I am in this anymore, I just gave up on it with how bad it ran before lol

 

Hardly any of the games people call trash on this website are as bad as they say

 

hopping in to say while i'm not picking one of these up for a while, i'm currently at my local game store for an event and i'm sitting next to the TV which the owner has plugged his new Switch 2 into. this thing looks really sleek in person (and larger than i expected)

 

Large, but also surprisingly very light!

 

It's way bigger and way thinner than I expected. It definitely makes the Switch 1 feel like a prototype. I will say I very much miss actual handhelds like the size of a DS.

Oh wow I thought people said the BOTW expansion is only in 1440p. According to my TV, it's at 4K HDR 60fps

...can confirm Nintendo did not patch out windbombs. Nice.

 

Truly a weird choice for Nintendo to have the switch up against the walls of the box

This is going to be controversial, but I don't think the sides of the new joycons feel that good. It feels uncomfortable.
