I was shocked it got delivered at 7:30 this morning, I was gonna be freaking if it didn’t come before I left for work and it had to sit outside til I got home

 

Very impressed my GameCube controller went from Washington, to Ontario, to New England in 1 day via UPS haha

 

Wow a friend of mine let me onto his family NSO account so I got access to the Zelda upgrades and the expansion pack stuff!!!!!! Sweeeeeet

Yeah, they’re just being Nintendo haha. They could (and probably should) patch most of their recent IP games to 1080p with higher framrates but…Nintendo.

To be fair though Prime Remastered was already one of the best looking and performing games in Switch 1.

Just been playing Pokemon Scarlet so far, I did buy Bravely Default though, also downloaded the upgrades for BOTW and TOTK. I think i'm just gonna play them both again, I never did finish half of TOTK, but I wanna see both these games in all their upgraded glory. The phone apps for the games also sounds like a neat little companion app to use too.

 

Turning off IPV6 in the internet settings boosts download speeds a lot

 

Sigh. The fact that companies still suck at implementing ipv6 in 2025 is so sad lol. I used to test network equipment for IPv6 certification 10+ years ago and the amount of large companies that kept failing the standard was staggering

 

Anyone have the new pro controller? Hows that?

 

Just placed an order with Antonline for a bundle that includes pro controller. No markup on anything, so we’ll see how long it takes to arrive.

 

I just went to my local target and got a switch 2. they had like 4 left. I Was in and out in 5 min

 

Nice that's awesome! At a glance, I can see it's sold out at my Walmart and Target so I'm glad I got a preorder

Yeah I haven't played it on the TV yet, but I opened it up on the Switch 2 before and after getting the expansion pass, and it's very noticeable. Much cleaner edges around stuff

 

Yep. Textures, resolution, fps, all noticeably better. I’m noticing some subtle animation stuff in menus and inventory that I never caught before.

 

And the god damn load times

 

Pretty wild that there are only three GameCube games available with the NSO expansion, but eh, at least I got my DLCs with it

 

Will be picking up my switch from GameStop after work babyyy
