lol got a call from the GameStop today I preordered, they left a voicemail and I was thinking they were gonna cancel it. Just a friendly reminder they open at 11 or whatever the night before to pick it up lol

 

Damn we’re really not going to get reviews before launch.

 

Are we thinking that any GCN controllers sold by Nintendo are already in the US waiting to be shipped? Mine still says "Preparing to ship" with an arrival of 3 to 9 business days, so I'm kind of surprised it didn't already send if it's coming from overseas

 

Anybody wanna give me their rec for a launch day title besides Mario Kart and the Zelda games for the Switch 2? Looking to pick something else up, don’t care the genre necessarily. I’ve only really played like 1st party Nintendo games the last 10 years.

 

Get kirby and the forgotten land then download the DLC for switch 2

 

Actually have that. Haven’t played it though my son has it. But we are definitely interested in the upgrades to these games

 

The Kirby upgrade doesn't come out until August, unfortunately

I hear there's some content near the end of that game that is a tedious pain in the ass compared to the WWHD remaster, do you still think that's fine enough to trudge through? I think mainly the triforce shard quest and lack of swift sail

 

I guess I’m more thinking along the lines of Cyberpunk, Bravely Default, Yakuza? Neither of these are games I’d typically play but I want to branch out some

Hyperdimension Neptunia is a series of action-RPG/visual novel hybrids that operate on a premise that anthropomorphizes the Console Wars, focusing on the four Goddesses that rule Gamindustri: Neptune (Sega), Noire (Sony), Vert (Microsoft), and Blanc (Nintendo).

They are fun and full of anime tropes, gaming parody, and light fanservice.

 

I think I’m in the minority but I actually like the og triforce shard quest. Piecing together the triforce felt awesome?! They shortened it in the Wii U version but I didn’t feel like there was any need to.

The swift sailing in HD was a HUGE quality of life improvement but it’s not like the original game was impossible without it. Don’t let those things stop you from playing the best Zelda game!

Also team 'original windwaker is better than HD'. Fast sailing is fine but it also makes the world feel smaller and that feeling of being way out in a distant corner of the map is one of the best parts of the game.

 

I think the game without the fast sail is painful

 

Got this as well, I think I’m going to go at midnight even though I have to work lol. I currently have quite a few openings so I can play there if I want

 

Just gives you more time to enjoy the best song in the franchise.
