i will say Best Buy generally does this for most/all preorders of all kinds, not just the Switch 2. but yes, definitely make sure you check this.

i did my walmart order w affirm so i don't even necessarily know if i'm waiting to be charged.... only thing i know is that mine's supposed to be delivered directly from my local walmart on launch day. who knows!

Best Buy order updated to “preparing for pickup on Thursday” hell yeah

 

Target has my order’s arrival date as June 11th. A lot of people on Reddit have the same date.

 

Gotta decide if I want to go pick it up at midnight or just wait until after work lol. I’m not sure what I want to do yet.

I’m definitely doing midnight pickup (my BB order also now says ‘Preparing for pickup on Thursday’) but I really hope they are organized bc my Best Buy is quite understaffed these days.
