Woo, just got a confirmation that my Switch 2 will be ready on release day. It didn't have a date for the longest time.

I’ve constantly been checking my bank account and my target pre-order the last couple days due to people posting pre orders from various sites about cancellations recently. I need some reassurance from Target. Please, I’m begging you. Just take my money you fools.

The target app finally updated and says my switch 2 is prepping to ship, but it won’t arrive until June 11th

I haven’t been charged after all. Makes me nervous. If it doesn’t ship on Wednesday I’ll try to find one in a store on Thursday and cancel the preorder.

 

Nice. I just got lucky and found a 512GB MicroSD Express card for local pickup in my area.

 

Console and Pro Controller now show arriving wed june 11th where originally it said 6th-11th (Target)

Just got charged for my Switch and Pro Controller from Walmart! Looks like I’ll get it on the 9th which is fine by me.

 

I really don't know what to get at launch, i'm honestly more excited to pop on Pokemon Scarlet and TOTK more than anything else due to the performance patches that are coming day 1.

I am not a Mario Kart fan really, but I just know it's gonna get insanely glowing reviews and i'm not gonna be able to stop myself from buying it.

I think I will just purchase the Bravely Default remaster on launch day but we shall see.

 

My concern with performance improvements of Scarlett and Violet is that if it's coded poorly and causes memory leaks overtime, more powerful hardware alone is not going to solve those memory leaks. It will just take a longer time for them to crop up

But yeah, I'm more likely to try the game out again on Switch 2, and will def be replaying BOTW

This whole situation has been so dumb.

 

If you pre-ordered through Best Buy look at this. They sent out emails to confirm payment info for everyone and if you haven’t done so yet you need to give your card CVV to confirm.

If you preordered the Switch 2 on Best Buy with a credit card, make sure you verify this!

just did so with mine, it said awaiting payment before with $0 charged before and after it went through and said the payment was complete.
