Jedi Outcast is great. Or was. No idea if it holds up.

 

Because it’s the weirdest and I’m no actual Star Wars fan i just happen to like that movie.

 

The Last Jedi is terrific

 

I like Star Wars I think it's fun and get invested in all kinds of Star Wars material

But I also cannot stand how seriously Star Wars can be taken sometimes hahaha like idk how some people can get THAT mad or on the other end THAT defensive over SW

 

honestly I feel this way about any/all entertainment properties. I especially think comic book fandom is just straight up weird.

But also I'm a complete hypocrite and get up in arms about dumb shit all the time I feel like I should state that for the jury

but like it's fine to like a movie, it's fine to dislike a movie, but people are literally spending more time re-litigating wether or not The Last Jedi was a worthy addition to the Star Wars canon than the 2016 primaries.

 

I can see that. Episode 1 is pretty weird too though. For the record I didn’t understand the bitching about Last Jedi. Sure, they blow everything up once again and stuff, but like, it’s Star Wars, of course some dumb shit happens.

 

Episode 1 kinda rocks the pod racing changed my life. I played so much wipeout.

 

Maybe it’s because I’m a pretentious continental that grew up with fucking European art house cinema, but the overly serious and intense discourse about things like Star Wars makes me fucking roll my eyes so hard. And I love Star Wars.

 

No lie I fucks with episode 1, that movie is odd

 

And I grew up with like the shittiest movies known to man and have no cinematic taste and I still think the overly serious discourse is ridiculous hahaha

 

Oh believe me when it comes down to it I prefer “low brow” movies, my favorite movies is probably American Pie lolol I just get annoyed by people trying to intellectualize them lol

 

Same for videos game stories btw lol
