I never played the original Link’s Awakening so it’s pretty cool to have a new Zelda like Link To the Past/A Link Between Worlds. 60 bucks is a little steep though for this type of game but I put it on my credit card so this is a problem for future Kyle

 

I liked the realistic approach to TP. I would like to get a more realistic graphic style in HD. That would look good

I don’t care if it’s 30, what I sometimes physically can’t take is if it constantly dips.

 

WW, SkSw and BotW are gorgeous. I personally don’t want “realistic” Zelda. I also don’t see them making it.

 

I’m not getting LA right now because I don’t think I can give it the time it needs this year. I’m waiting for DQ. 2D mode let’s goo.

 

Oh god DQ 1-3 are out next week too

Yeah the blandness was probably at least in part due to the limitations of the GameCube. There's a reason WW worked so much better on the GC

 

True. Zelda could look like Witcher 3 or like the new AC games. I highly doubt they want to do that though. Also then I’d be just another “realistic” looking fantasy game, which would be a waste I think.

 

But yeah WW is my favorite style and I remember when WW was first announced and I was an edgy kid being like "THIS IS FOR BABIES" and then I played it and it was the best

 

BotW > WW > SS

 

Yeah it probably isn't in their plans at all and I don't blame em, I'm not demanding it at all haha I just think it's certainly not impossible and TP isn't the only way to do realism

 

Oh God yeah people were so wrong about that. Even the original WW still looks amazing.

 

Many “realistic” Japanese games do look bland as fuck though, or have for a long time

I've definitely had lesser accomplishments than that

 

I could see Nintendo doing a realistic style again, considering TP was the highest selling Zelda until BOTW

 

That has a lot to do with Wii sales though. BotW outsold it when they'd only sold like 20 million Switches

 

I just feel like BOTW is so larger than life right now that they'll probably ride that style as long as they can

I think TP is great and there's a good reason why it's so drab. Also with the inclusion of the twilight magic stuff it goes.pretty well together.
