I just got 100% on tropical freeze on Monday. That game is definitely worth full priced. Infuriating. Satisfying. Fun.

 

I agree but there was a lot of negative reactions to it being full price on Switch because it's a port

 

I think they could've potentially gotten less blowback if they had sold it for $50. I get the rationale for why it was full price (most people didn't play it on Wii U) but it is still a port at the end of the day.

That said, yeah that game is definitely worth $60, port or not. It's in the conversation for best 2D platformer of all time, imo.

 

Ori is so so good. one of those games I wish I could experience for the first time again.

 

DKC Returns and Tropical Freeze are both better than any of the New Super Mario Bros. games, despite those games all being at the very least good.

DKTF sold a shitload of copies in Switch, much more than on WiiU, so who cares about some pissed off people on the internet lol

 

Literally every first party Wii U game that's been ported has sold much better on Switch lol

I’m playing Hollow Knight and I’m obsessed with it but now that I have double jump I’m not sure I could ever again go through most of the game without it

 

My brain and heart are fighting each other about getting a switch lite tomorrow, my heart is gonna win tho I know it

 

I'm picking Laura's up tomorrow

 

As much as the switch lite looks really cool, I don't think I could spend that much on one when I already have a Switch
