I still have a well over 75 bucks on a target gift card. Im thinking about buying the new switch model then trading in my old one at gamestop, so i would just buy the new one, do the save transfer, make sure it works and then trade in my old one, has anyone done the save transfer thing before? Wont my sd card just have all the games saved on it on the new one right when i pop the card in?

 

if you go through with that let me know how you did the save transfer and what games carry over (esp if you have splatoon2)

 

I just dunno if its worth it, my switch is only a year old and in great condition still, i have a portable battery pack thats good for multiple switch charges and im p sure im getting a switch lite for my bday lol im just bored and a nerd

i have the day 1 switch, and thought it was fine for a while. but then we bought a friend a brand new switch and played around with that and realized that i could use a new one. it was so shiny and the inputs were better. that was like a year ago haha

I did the transfer to the new Switch the day I saw it launched in stores in my city. My new switch battery life lasts significantly longer than my old one. I am very pleased with my purchase.

In regards to the data transfer, you basically unlink your account, transfer it over to the new one and then pop in your micro SD card which will keep all your save files and screenshots, but not your games. You have to redownload that. All that being said, it was an extremely easy process.

I was hoping to send my switch off to get fixed before that trade in promo ends but I don’t think I’ll get it back in time. I’m thinking of trading it in for the switch lite when it comes in. Still thinking about trading in my other switch for the new model

 

Finally at the endgame in AC. honestly probably my favorite fighting system in any game ever.

H'aanit, and now I also have Therion, Alfyn, and Primrose. Just wanna get all 8 before I dive in too deep with anyone.

 

Doing chapter 1 of every character before later chapters is the way to go anyway

 

Was just thinking about my top 5 Switch exclusives and realised 2 of them were released in the last two months

 

Nice, I started with her too. Using her ability to catch monsters Pokemon style is so useful when it comes to getting different weapons to break enemy shields.

Also there's an axe in Alfyn's hometown that has like a 1% steal rate but a +200 attack bonus. If you have the patience to save scum, it turns him into a murder machine.
