I've just realized that GBA ports that I wouldn't even think about on Wii U would be served incredibly on the Switch. Gimme them FE and Advance Wars VC ports.

 

I forgot how fun GTA Chinatown Wars for DS was

 

The drug dealing gameplay was really dope.

 

Yeah the battles are pretty easy to figure out with the weapon triangle stuff, but some of the finer details like applying badges, who and how to level up etc. can get complicated.

So far this is my least favorite Fire Emblem; it doesn't have a ton of strategy and challenge for me. That said I understand why they made the changes they did, and it's probably the best game I've played on my phone.

Oops. Sorry I deleted the post, mostly because I thought it was 13 minutes of Switch showcase but apparently the video just loops over and over as he talks over it.

Posting it here again though:

I never finished that game because the drug dealing loop broke the whole progressions of the game for me at some point. I want to go back to it at some point.

 

I never finished it either actually haha. I'm working on it now. I always just spent so much time goofing off in it along with the dealing.

 

You guys are making me sad I sold this game.

 

Just out of curiosity, how would you guys feel if Mario Odyssey ends up having Mario jumping into different Nintendo franchise-inspired worlds (ie Donkey Kong in Donk City, Kirby inspired level, etc)?

 

I mean that could be cool but I also want my Mario games to be pure, not all meta and meme-ish

 

Same thoughts. I like that the characters do their own things and then just come together in games like Smash, Kart and the sports game.

But it could probably be good if done right.

 

Donkey Kong x Mario is kind of different though I guess, there is history there

Still rerolling in Fire Emblem Heroes, may my pain soon end.

 

That sounds way better than the rumored Mario X Rabbids game.

 

I'd be excited for the Mario Rabbids game if it's an RPG like the rumours suggested. I want another Super Mario RPG.

 

The Rabbids game have a surprising amount of good humor, I think it's genius for Ubisoft to make a push for them. They were the original Minions in a way, and are way cooler.

Also, I am officially done supporting GameStop. The way they handle consumers doesn't bug me because I am an adult and have a real easy time saying "no", but it seems like the worst company to work for. Hate that they were the only place I could get a preorder in for the Switch.

 

I haven't bought anything from Gamestop in a while, it's been all Amazon/Best Buy for 20% off, or digital stores.

 

The Switch marketing has done its job. Currently at my brother's for a BBQ and wish I had it with me so I could pass some joy cons around and play some local multiplayer while the food is cooking

I've always preferred my devices monocolored, but I'm definitely getting the neon one this time. Really like how it looks.
