I'm on Astral Chain's last boss before I hit endgame.

 

I just ran from the pill bugs when I ran out of antidotes lol

sorry dude was eating lunch, yes there is a store in the first town you start in, the upper left corner there is an item person and weapon person standing outside their shop

 

That game was almost creepy in a lot of ways. Much different than the first one!

 

how hard has it been?

 

this boss is the only part that's anything I'd consider remotely challenging. I'm very much Familiar With The Controls now.

 

Okay cool, that giant file 7 boss was scaring the fuck outta me but then I beat him pretty handily which I liked. I like the balance of difficulty and fun in this game.

Yeah it could be creepy as hell in parts. The opening sequence is so unsettling. Really wish that franchise was still around.

 

I dont remember BoF2 being creepy as a kid but im also a sociopath

 

The whole game wasn’t but it had a lot of creepy/unsettling moments/sequences.

honestly thought P.Bug was Poison Bug

an extra game i came up with is showing my wife the abbreviated item names and asking her what she thought they meant. V.Ptn, BnzSD, etc

love the 5 character restrictions

Hahaha yeah the menus and like equipping/purchasing is real primitive, theres a certain charm to that though.

 

is there any way to check the weapon/armor’s stats WHILE equipped?

 

Not sure, if you pick that lifting weight icon at the shop you can try on stuff and it will show you what it will raise if purchased/equipped between defense and attack tho. I need to dig more into it tonight.
