I'm on sick leave today (actually sick) so I've been pretty much playing all day. Don't have a 5 star yet though I do have lots of 4 stars.

I focused on upgrading the castle first. But as soon as I hit 20 orbs again I'll roll.

 

I'm nerding out over all the different characters you can get. Never thought I'd see Raven again. He ruled so hard on the GBA. Considering spending racks until I get myself a Lyn.

Multiple, long in-app downloads are very common for this type of mobile games. Still annoying.

 

I played some of it. It's very polished for the type of game it is, but it really just makes me want to finish Revelations and it makes me look forward to the 720p screen the Switch has.

 

Finished story mode on Normal with a subpar team. Need to build a better one now haah.

 

why 20? just curious.

 

Once you have 20 you can roll 5 times, with the cost going down every(other?) time. You get a better value.

Haha yeah, well you could always restart your game and reroll (provided you're willing to make the time) so you can collect all the orbs again. Soft resetting truly is a signature FE mechanic, even on mobile haha

 

Started FE: Heroes yesterday and this game is doing literally everything right for me so far. Great depth, characters I love, art is fantastic, gameplay is quick and fun while still keeping similar strategic elements to the mainline games. I didn't expect it to be THIS GOOD, but it definitely is. Will be playing this for quite some time. (not getting any work done today, lol)

 

I think I'm just gonna roll with it (sorry) and keep on going. I almost have 20 again.

I think that's about it.

- Though I did upgrade my castle to give 100% exp early.
- Finish the all the quests because you'll get another set of those after you complete all of them.

I'm a bit relieved that the game is good. I've managed to bump Effie, Nino and some other characters up to 20-22 using a mix of the shards and the training arena pretty quickly.

 

I'm ready for the ride.

 

Fire Emblem Heroes is a ton of fun so far. It simplified the combat really well, got me hooked just trying to grind up some orbs to get my next random FE character fix (give me Hana soon please) and there's a good amount of depth. Good stuff. Main disappointment is in the selection of games included so far - Path of Radiance soon please.

I miss Lyn and co a lot. that was the very first FE game I played. I really wish switch would have FE virtual console ports. Tons of them.
