Yes. This specific example is mostly benign, but it's still part of an overall problem I'm addressing.

There are people on Twitter, NeoGaf, etc, that pride themselves on going out of their way to ruin developers' hard work, fans' excitement, etc and some also just find pure joy in spoiling things for others. People like being in the know, which I get, but to actively dismiss people's hard work or anything else is just pathetic.

There's also been times when early leaks have negatively affected the perception of a game or product and causes the developers to have to do crowd control because some dingus couldn't wait to get the ten seconds of elation knowing he was the first person to announce something. People work hard to craft a message for their products and how they are revealed.

And yes, selfishly, as a fan of some things, I want to see how a studio has decided to surprise me and get me engaged in their world/game. Examples being like Rune Factory 4 & 5, SMT VI, etc.
