See i've only played NieR (not all of it, shocker) but i'm also confident in my video game abilities lol so I won't feel good unless I play Pt Standard.

 

What difficulty y'all gonna play on for the real AC? I'm thinking hardcore so if I hit Tom Nook with a shovel it's permadeath.

Just got my birthday coupon emailed to me that’s 30% of select digital games. I got excited only to see a couple 3DS and Wii U games lmao. I know it was that way last year but I figured they’d change it by now.

 

I got thought cereberus the first try, D rank everything, I can see myself getting the hang of it though plus theres a ton more to add it looks like.

 

apparently it's normal to get D rank on everything at first in platinum games.

this one values variety (use all the monsters and moves you have). stuff like healing etc. doesn't really matter apparently

I am absolutely awful at Astral Chain even on ‘casual’ mode

Just cleared the first case, almost died on the first ‘boss’ thing about six times. There’s too much chaos going on during the combat, I can’t follow what’s happening

 

It feels very janky at first, I did casual the first couple files, youre going to unlock a training room where you can practice stuff and I found by the 3rd file they did a good job of kinda helping you organically get better I guess? Deff give it a little time. I am by no means great at the combat at all I just started the 4th file though and feel much more confident than the first couple.

 

The Smash Bros SMK leak has officially been debunked. The DLC page was copied exactly from the DLC page for SNK’s Heroines game.

 

The first 2 cases don’t count, you don’t have real weapons yet.

 

Astral Chain is pretty sick. That opening was just relentless.

This Platinum/Nintendo partnership is really working out for both of them. Nintendo would never make action RPGs like these. The more I play Platinum games the more of a fan I become, they’re just wrecking it right now.

i did the same thing I was all hyped to maybe get a switch indie or like mario party but NOPE

 

in Astral Chain when I replay a previous mission, I don’t actually restart the entire game right? i can go back to my current progress?

standard pt is a bit hard rn but i’m still learning the game so i don’t feel too bad

 

also holy shit the UI has themes you can choose from. more videogames should do this (Pokemon did this, or is doing it)
