First spoiler I ever read was the flashforward twist in LOST. Those were the days.

 

I actively seek out spoilers sometimes lol, it doesn't affect my enjoyment of things at all


I guess there are two distinct kinds of people when it comes to this issue lol

 

Same. I don’t actively seek them out but if i see them on websites i would usually visit i’m not bothered it

Having things spoiled for me actively hinders my enjoyment/kills my desire to see, read, or play it. And I’m really sick of people telling me things like “the plot is the least important thing about a movie” (which is, just, an absurd thing to say) or “actually, spoilers are good!”. That isn’t the case for me and I have to go to great lengths to avoid them in a world where people are like completely devoid of empathy/courtesy in this one weird specific area. It’s like “I don’t personally care about spoilers so nobody else should either”. Nah.

Not that anyone in here necessarily has this mentality but there are many people on this site who do. Also not saying this applies to decades-old media, but rather like recent movies and tv shows.

Has anyone played the Luigi's Mansion arcade shooter? I saw one in Dave & Busters over the weekend but it looked kinda wonky.

I did in Tokyo. It’s super fun but just an on rails shooter pretty much.

 

I just heard someone say that they should make a new Eternal Darkness and include a fake joy con drift as one of the insanity effects

 

I'm not sure but I think you can send it in and they'll tell you how much it'll cost and if you decline they send it back? I think that's how it works here at least.

 

Just an FYI Nintendo sells refurbished stuff and the refurbished Switch dock is a great deal at 40 bucks

That refurbished dock is tempting, but since it needs an AC adapter and HDMI, I still think I'd rather get an Insignia dock for the same price. The only disadvantage is it only has one USB port, so no rumble on the GameCube controllers. I've been on the fence for awhile.. it'd be nice to have a dock setup in my bedroom and livingroom

 

Oh damn I didnt even think of about the AC adapter and HDMI cable, knew it was too good to be true.

yes, and when that retort was given, the complainer said they dont watch directs so as not to be spoiled. theyre in a thread about a video of the game idk what they're doing

 

Yeah I mean like I said earlier, in this day and age of zero empathy/zero courtesy re: spoilers, you're just asking for it if you go somewhere like that. The hoops I have to jump through to remain unspoiled about things are absolutely exhausting, but I know I have to do them if I don't want plot details ruined for me before I experience something. Like, I haven't gotten FE yet and don't know when I will, so I'm not going into that thread until I play through it. It sucks but it is what it is.

 

Order a new one from amazon. Transfer all your shit.
Return the old one.
