Regardless of opinion, 21 years is enough anyway lol

 

i agree that if, say, a movie comes out - stay away from the discussion until you've seen it. it is a one sitting experience. however, like the new season of OITNB comes out and i have things i want to talk about in episode three, im afraid to even enter that thread til im done because there are ten left. unless i write that stuff down, no way im remembering it ten episodes later. same with Fire Emblem. im 25 hours in and still in Act 1. other people are done. it's tough but at the end of the day it's a a small concession to make to better a conversation as a whole imo. some people have kids or a low income or a crazy schedule or a multitude of limitations on when, how, and how fast they enjoy something and it all just sucks i guess lol

I don’t disagree with all that, especially that last part, but then again there’s not much point to for example a TV show thread/discussion that’s just “this episode was good/bad” imo.

 

Do we know that those people were actually being serious? I just can't imagine getting mad about spoilers for something that's 21 years old lol.

Personally, and this is just me, I have forced myself to get over the whole concept because spoilers have become so unavoidable in my life. Now I mostly just don’t care. It’s the journey etc. That’s not to say I go and look for them.

 

yeah i just think something like

Episode 3: @oldjersey still begs for Persona 5 on Switch

is perfect. takes only a moment to format that and then anyone at that point or further can discuss at length and those that aren't have something to come back to

getting off socials was so good for spoilers. i really only use this site and reddit because every topic is so sectioned off that i just unsub from a shows subreddit til I'm caught up and avoid the thread here and am safe. only time ive been spoiled in at least a year was the bachelorette finale because again im trash

 

I personally don’t get upset with spoilers but I can understand some people getting upset for something that just came out. But if you’re mad about spoilers for something that came out before you were born or something 10-20 years old, that’s just life.

Someone being mad over a spoiler from a game released 21 years ago confuses me so much as does that mean they think people should never post about games on social media? As someone might have not played that game from 10 or 20 years ago? That's just so stupid lol

 

if someone spoils me the ending of mario 64 i’ll get very very angry

So my switch has gone from "internet won't connect but magically starts working again after I randomly tweak my router settings" to "nothing related to wireless seems to work, even though Airplane mode is off"

Won't connect to the internet. Sometimes if I leave it sitting there for a while it'll come back and connect to the internet but the speeds it gets will be really slow and trying to do anything with the internet errors out

Even joycons won't connect unless attached to the system

Tried resetting the system, no dice.

So now I'm getting a LAN connector. Should at least be able to get internet that way. But really puts a damper on the functionality of the device

 

My girlfriend loves spoilers. When I show her something she wants me to tell her everything that happens and the she just likes to see how it gets to that point. She reads the last page of a book before she starts any book

But yeah I hate spoilers but it's also very easy to avoid them. So I do.

 

LAN adapter works. So I guess just all wireless abilities on my switch are fried.

As long as the issue I had a few months ago where the joycons don't connect doesn't come back I should be able to live with it. But uh nintendo... if you wanna release a nintendo switch pro sometime in the next year or so...
