It had really fun gameplay, but the dialogue and story were atrocious. I wouldn't have paid full price for it, but it was worth the $10 I spent.

From what I've been reading the joycon are really comfortable, even in big hands. The only issue with it I've seen is with the lack of a real Dpad for games like Street Fighter. So I'll probably hold off on getting one for awhile, especially at that price.

 

Yeah, I ordered it but will probably return it if the included setup feels enough like a normal controller.

 

Just walked in to GameStop to put some more money down on my preorder and they offered to preorder me the pro controller. I said yes.

 

Yeah, I got an Amazon preorder for the pro controller in but no idea if I want to keep it yet.

 

If I wasn't broke I'm sure I would pick one up right away. I just keep thinking "Man for 10 bucks more I could be doing 4 player battle mode in Mario Kart if I get the 2 joycon pack." I also think multiplayer looks fun in ARMS with motion controls.

At the end of the day, I just wish my kids didn't eat so damn much so I could afford it all. Haha

3DS, but I also have it on Steam (iirc I'm at the last level on Steam but I could be wrong).

3DS was great on the go, but some of those lags were frustrating. Had to learn the stages factoring in the lags. I honestly thought upgrading to N3DS would fix the issue, but did not make any difference at all. I wonder if the physical version is the same.

 

Tax return is much bigger than expected and will be here the week of Valentine's Day, so no need to trade the Wii U in towards the Switch, very happy about that.

Also, I'm heading from Upstate NY to Long Island on Thursday, and am leaving early to stop in NYC and finally visit the Nintendo store. The fact that trip falls on payday does not bode well...

 

I just preordered Zelda for Wii U picking it up midnight release, got my girlfriend to book three days off for it. So excited!!!!!
