FWIW I don't think I've run into an issue with my controllers yet

Some connectivity issues but it's easy to blame my setup for that

 

does anyone have one of the Hori dpad joycon or know a reputable source for a modded one

 

Nintendo replaced several machines for me when I was a kid that I dropped and broke free of charge because my mom wrote them a nice letter. This is actually true.

 

Nintendo should have not used shitty stuff to make the joycon tbh

The Pro controller is my fav controller of all time tho, if you hate joy cons that much just get one of those

 

Apparently it's only Nintendo of America doing the free joycon repairs

I still have a lot of goodwill toward Nintendo. Yeah my joy cons drifted and so far the spray has fixed them. On the other hand, my OG game boy that is two years younger than me still works like it was launch day so there’s that.

I’d like to think they figured something out since they have a console coming out where you can’t take the joycons off. People are going to be even more pissed if they have to send in the whole system

 

Well, there's also the new model of the Master Switch coming out in Japan at the end of August. They may have updated the joycons as well in the new batches to make sure they don't drift, but if they haven't, I'm sure they'll do it soon.

 

I played Mario Party for the Switch at my brother’s house and I haven’t had more fun playing a game since...actually since BotW a couple days ago. But you get the point

I still haven't played Mario Party for Switch but I am surprised by all the backlash. How do you fuck up a Mario Party game? I haven't played a single one that wasn't fun between Mario Party 1, 2, 4, and whatever the Wii one was.

 

Mario Party for Switch is great and I'm glad I own it. I just wish there were more levels to choose from.

 

The Wii U Mario Party was horrendous

the Switch one is okay, a definite step in the right direction

 

I think I've only ever played the gamecube one and I hated it even when I was 10

 

The Gamecube ones were the best

 

Which means I just really don't like the series lol

 

Mario Party is super rigged and it makes it unbearable to play.

 

It’s all about the mini games anyway

 

mario party is a blast when you have a ton of people. kinda means that i don't have to buy it because i only want to play it with a bunch of people and that means that my friend who already has it is likely to be around anyway lol
