Does no more splatfest mean no new content at all? That seems a little weird because I imagine that game is still going strong

 

yeah, after Sunday at 5am there will be no more Splatfests, no more weapon updates, no new stages. we got 2 years of updates tho, it's been a good run.

 

they’ll release v5.0 after this last splatfest. it will let users make their own splatfests but no other announcement has been made.

yeah i don’t think they’re planning to wind down the game. there’s still def a huge userbase.

 

I don’t think 2 years is that long unless the next one is coming right up. It’s not like there are that many other online games for their paid service.

 

FINALLY starting BOTW tomorrow
