I have OoT on my 3ds, I was looking at screen shots of Majora's and it looks really cool. for some reason I thought it had a stigma about it not being good or something, but I've been seeing more love for it lately. never played WW, maybe wii u version will be available VC on switch

 

Some people aren't into Majora's because of the three day mechanic which can be stressful at times but I think it's manageable and adds so much to the game that it's worth it. It's easily my second favourite Zelda game though and in my top 5 of all time so I definitely recommend playing it after Ocarina. It's probably the most unique/different Zelda, definitely of the 3D games and it has such a fantastic vibe throughout.

Yeah, the entire game takes place over three days and the game constantly moves forward. You can go back to the beginning of those three days whenever you want but lots of things reset when you do. It makes side quests and things work very well though in terms of all the things that are happening at specific times. It's great but it can take a bit of getting used to.

Yeah the aesthetic and tone is perfect. I want another Zelda game like it.

 

I think a lot of people are, they are part of the reason the last two games turned it into a major series. Echoes probably has it too, unless you read something I did not.

 

I was just basing it off on Echoes being a reimagining of an older game (and one which focused less on the sim aspect). Probably subconsciously projecting what I'm hoping Echoes would be.

Not that I dislike the sim aspect, but I feel like it would be a nice change of pace without or less of it. Totally being biased about it.

 

See I lean the other way, I really just want Nintendo to let the Story Of Seasons people make a Fire Emblem game haha

 

I mean several WiiU, DS and 3DS games supported touch screen and button controls, depending on your preference. Not every game is meant to be equlay perfect both docked and undocked I guess, and for some games, I assume, it make sense to dock and undock it depending on what you are doing, like maybe Mario Maker. Also, the Joy Cons can probably be pointed at the TV and used as a cursor.

The main reason the touch screen is on there is probably because, according to what I have heard, a good looking touchscreen is cheaper at this point than a good looking regular screen, because of economics of scale.

Actualy, I think that Sonic RPG Bioware made for the Nintendo DS is a cool game.

 

I loved sonic 2 when I was a kid. My brother and I would play that all day on Genesis.
