Yes same idea, 4 players, various weapons and armor pickups, one game consists of about 15-20 rounds though, each round is in a different map with different available weapons and stuff. Controls are pretty loose which makes it a lot of fun. The only thing is I know that the online on PS4 was not good, perhaps this will be better? Wishful fucking thinking I know.

Yeah the only experience I have is with 4 friends in person. Fuck it was a blast.

i’ve played through 2 shantae games (even bought the limited edition Half Genie Hero one) and as much as I want to like them, they’re just OK to me. i also found some of the levels confusing.

maybe I’m just used to Megaman/Shovel Knight style platforming, where the jumps feel a bit shorter and you spend less time mid-air.

Yeah only the upgraded one would interest me. I haven't had mine as long as some of you(about a year I think) so I'd hate for it to be outdated already

which Gamepass games use analog triggers besides Forza? i know i won’t be playing that but if Halo or something used them that’ll suck

in Moose’s hypothetical world we get some tough questions. if they introduce Joycon with analog triggers or any special new Joycon at all, they will almost certainly be available separately, which would remove some incentive to upgrade. so, to counter that, do they make the Joycon or at least the analog feedback somehow exclusive to the new Switch via a firmware block? or does the new Switch boast a different size of Joycon? because that would disallow handheld mode on older models but theoretically they could still be used in docked/tabletop mode.

there’s a lot of questions that may have weird answers because the Switch has the modular element

 

i am entirely content with the current Switch, i really can’t think of a change i’d make to the hardware, only firmware
