What's the worst Nintendo game you've played?

I think mine is Mario is Missing or Hey! Pikmin! Both were pretty bad.

 

Idk if Mario's Time Machine or Mario is Missing is worse lol

i had Mario’s Time Machine as a kid and it honestly creeped me the fuck out, not that that was a very high bar to clear. the “worlds” were so barren and desolate and the soundtrack was very dreamy/kinda surreal.

 

Never played it but that sounds amazing.

Kinda reminds me of Jak & Daxter, tbh. Does not look anywhere near as good as the actual game though.

isnt this just a slight upgrade on twilight princess? which we got anyways in the hd remaster. not the biggest expert of graphics and stuff but this doesnt look too far off from tp.

 

Yeah, I think it was a tech demo that turned into that if I remember correctly (but I'm not 100%) but I just wanted it more like this with less stylized effects and lighting etc.

 

it is a crime that Nintendo opted not to utilize the Gamepad for inventory management etc like in Wind Waker/Twilight Princess for the Wii U version of BotW, really shitty for those that bought a system expecting a proper Zelda

I'd choose an interesting and unique art style over trying to replicate life as close to possible every day of the week.

 

Exactly. I know people complained about Wind Walker but it looks so much better than the “realistic” titles of the same era.

 

And it will continue to look amazing for generations because it was already timeless when it came out.

 

I mean, it’s an unfortunate emission, but they did get a proper Zelda for the system they bought, plus two great HD remakes, I think Nintendo did right by Zelfa fans with a WiiU. The attach rate for BotW on WiiU is pretty high actually.

 

Original WW still looks good

 

I complained about Wind Waker for approximately 30 seconds when I saw the art style, and then after 2 seconds of playing it it was my favorite style because I recognized I know nothing

 

WW looks 1000 times better than TP

 

Honestly there are times when I prefer the original look to the HD remake. Could just be nostalgia for my favorite Zelda though.
