Fuck those damn mushrooms.

I'll always go health buff, I'll usually go with one of the mutations that reduce skill time and then the third is a wild card, I'll do the +dps one after killing an enemy when I do my brutality builds. I finally got all the runes last night, I was so focused on just tryin to beat the game.i never get them all

 

still can’t decide between Dead Cells, Tangledeep, Wargroove, and Into the Breach. at this point it’s just gonna be whichever goes on sale first.

eh i’m not sure tbh. i know i will like it but i think i’m feeling a roguelike more rn.

this may be a bad take but i really don’t like Tangledeep’s entire aesthetic or else i’d have bought it already

 

Destiny 2

 

just get dead cells it rules. I can’t speak for the others but into the breach I know for sure isn’t my kind of game.

 

What a tough call, what roguelikes have you played

 

if i were to crack and buy one rn, it would be Dead Cells for sure. i’ve done a lot of research on all of them and would like Into the Breach but feel like Dead Cells is a game id play forever

Get Dead Cells dude. Its my second or third most played game next to Issac.

 

basically the same, but they changed some of those health ones so I've been trying out different ones more than normal. the change they made to the reduce cooldowns is interesting, forces you to not sit back and let the turret do turret things. still need to get the wall climbing rune for the same exact reason. slumbering sanctuary is hard.

$24.99 is a bit rich for my blood. i have a $20 GameStop gift card and will prob use it on that

 

I hate what they did with the cool down mutations but it balances out with the difficulty getting lowered. Dude it took me way too long to get the ram rune. Spider I got on the first try I was so stoked.

 

@sean_rugy I also realized last night I need to not be such a hero and fight everything in sight. Sometimes you need to just avoid and Dodge shit and move on. I still don't do it enough.

 

I've sank something stupid like 540 hours into isaac over the years to get every achievement. I'm both excited for and dreading the new expansion

 

into the breach or tangledeep for me. former if you want more puzzle, latter if you want more roleplay

wargroove is already great. but i kind of want the qol updates before i get back to it.

^also that is assuming you don’t want platforming. i still have Hollow Knight and Celeste B/C-sides so I’m not in a hurry but I love strategy games more than action ones

 

Been waiting for that patch for Wargroove. Too deep into Dead Cells rn tho. Ill get to it someday soon.

Eff yeah. Wargroove time finally. There were way too many small annoyances that really bummed me out when it launched.

 

Is Wargroove basically just Advance Wars?

 

Kind of, its got a bunch of similarities, but it does its own spin with a few systems and it's fantasy instead of sci-fi.
