Not really, or at least not to this extent

 

I really didn't like saints row 4

 

You mean Crackdown 3? Me neither.

 

1 was good, but 4 was too much like 3 but 2? 2 was fucking perfect. 5 looks like its gonna suck. pumped for the 3 remaster tho

 

Can anyone explain what this is and why it's 1000 bucks!?

 

Saints Row 4 was fun enough, not as good as Crackdown 1 or SR3

 

it’s dev hardware, so it was never publicly on sale. this creates a niche collector’s market with wild price ceilings because there is no point of reference other than closing prices on other thirdhand sales. my buddy has a shit ton of 3DS dev kits etc that he sells on eBay

Saints Row 3 is very clearly the best one. 4 was a ton of fun though, for what it is. @Joe4th is right, too, that them leaning into the ridiculousness was the best choice they made. It distinguished Saints Row from its competitors and made it way more interesting and memorable.

 

Nope. 2nd is the one with the best characters and best stories. The ridiculousness should have just created a spinoff.

 

every single GTA clone that has played it straight has failed. we probably wouldn’t be talking about a Saints Row 4 if 3 hadn’t gone wacky and been a huge hit. evidence would suggest the majority of people aren’t playing them for the story.

 

Saints Row's humor always made me cringe, but in a bad way. No thanks.

 

Watch Dogs 2 and Sleeping Dogs are good GTA clones

 

Watch Dogs seems less GTA and more Ubi open world set in a city but i could be wrong. Sleeping Dogs was good but it is also dead.

 

Take away the hacking stuff and Watch Dogs is a GTA clone lol

 

and also hasn’t performed exceptionally well as a series though

 

Sleeping Dog is so good. I wish Yakuza was more like it.

I love them both as individual series, really wish we'd get more Sleeping Dogs.

 

For what’s it’s worth I wish some parts of Sleeping Dogs were more like Yakuza lol

 

i look forward to you making another thinly veiled alt in a few months when you put your temper tantrum pants back on and do another redemption tour
