I would rather go back and breeze through AC1 than trudge through AC3 again any day.

 

They're both bad in different ways, I don't want to play either lol

 

1 feels like proof of concept for 2

 

1 is a proof of concept for the whole series but at least it isn’t a slog. And it’s not a bad game by any means, it’s just outshone by the leaps and bounds the franchise took after it, including in the second game itself.

There’s no excuse for why AC3 was as bad as it is.

 

AC1 is a tech demo

 

As much as I do like to moan about certain games in the series, I do really like a lot of the games. Origins, Odyssey, Syndicate, BF and the Ezio trilogy are all at least good. idk who asked for a remaster of 3, sad that it's going to be the only one on Switch(at least so far)

 

I think 1 is a slog and a bad game lol

 

The prices for re-released games on Switch is the only thing I hate about Nintendo.

 

RE, RE0 and RE4 are £30 each on the eshop lol no thanks

 

I'm not a fan of Saints Row but they are gonna release the 3rd one on Switch with all DLC and it's prob gonna be 60 fuckin dollars. It came out EIGHT YEARS AGO.

 

I might, might think $60 would be somewhat fair if it included Saints Row 3 with all the DLC, Saints Row 4 with all of its content, and Gat Out of Hell. But yeah not for just Saints Row 3 and its DLC.

Nope, I had about 5 or 6 years away from gaming, 2010-2015 i'd say.

Oh yeah Saints Row 3 basically like GTA but with insane weapons, a lot of wacky humor, weird characters, stuff like that. Saints Row 4 is basically a superhero game lol.

Saints Row 3 and Saints Row 4 are a lot of fun, definitely check them out if you can get them for cheap on PS4 or Xbox or PC or whatever.

 

They’re not pricing the Ubisoft etc. games.

As far as their own games go, it’s a little complicated because most had substantial updates, came from a platform most Switch owners did not own AND often aren’t actually all that much cheaper on said platform. Nintendo’s pricing strategy overall has good and bad sides, but on the whole it’s good that they are not joining the continuous devaluation of video games

 

Saints Row 3 is wacky GTA and Saints Row 4 is kinda like Crackdown

 

Oh, so Nintendo has no say over the prices of games at all that they haven't developed?

 

nope. the biggest sway they have in price is an inadvertant one which is the cost of the cartridges to devs which is why the hard copy of say, Stardew Vallew is more expensive so the devs don’t take a loss on manufacturing

 

Saints Row 2 is by far the best in the series and then they went off the rails with 3 and 4 (mostly 4).

 

3 was my favorite by far. I loved 4 too, them leaning into the ridiculousness was what they needed

 

Hard hard hard disagree. The superpower aspect of 4 was way too far and at that point it should have just been something completely different. (I know, we had Agents Of Mayhem next, don't remind me)
