other than the big ones (Mario Odyssey+Party+Kart, Splatoon 2, Zelda, that AAA shit) there's a LOT of great indie games you probably heard us talk about in here;
Hollow Knight, Celeste, Golf Story, Dead Cells, Into The Breach, The Messenger, Wargroove, Tangledeep, like... i'd honestly recommend the indie games more than the main 1st party stuff.

 

They literally sold over 6 million 3DS models last year. That’s more than third of the Vita’s lifetime sales and so, so much more than last year Vita’s sales numbers. Like whatever you like, but the Vita is signifcantly more dead than the 3DS.

That's impressive. Also didn't realize its the biggest media property in the world.

It's pretty amazing that Pokemon came out in the late 90's and literally took the world by storm. Now here we are 25 or so years later and it's still as big as it was.

 

Mario Tennis Aces was a huge disappointment.

 

To be fair people other than GameFreak work on those Pokemon games, though they do the heavy lifting. But yeah it is a remarkable thing what they do given their size.

People also sometimes assume Nintendo doesn’t own Pokemon because GameFreak isn’t a Nintende property, but that’s wrong. They just intentionally “own” (written this way because it’s complicated) it in a rather conveluted way that involves other partners (of which Nintendo agains owns significant parts, including GameFreak) as Pokemon was basically too big a media franchise to contain. They also own all associated trademarks outright, which makes it even more conveluted.

lol just booted up a game of Tetris 99 and i was instantly super fucked

 

I don't even understand what is going on here and I'm still stressed

 

basically i am all those players’ target. so any junk blocks they create by clearing lines come over and clog my screen up and send me closer to losing. typically you start the game by selecting a random target and it seems like i was that random target for 11 other players lol.

made it to 56 though, better than i expected

I finally got first in Tetris 99.

I was showing my friend the game and the second game I got 1st. I've played about 10 hours. Guess I needed an audience?

 

I got bored of Tetris after a week but that's way longer than I'd last in any other BR game
