It’s... fine.

 

The response has been mixed. Some love it, some say it's okay. Nobody of note called it bad though for what it's worth, at least not to my knowledge. Probably worth a try if it looks like something you might like.

 

I don't usually like weapon durability, especially because it feels like a useless, outdate mechanic if you all you have to do is carry around items to fix your weapons or go to blacksmiths to have them fixed (unless it's like a hardcore survival game). I liked it well enough in BotW because you just had to throw them away and find something else, and there always was something else. It made more sense to me conceptually and seemed like a more deliberate design choice.

 

weapon durability was great in BotW, maybe 20% more aggressive than it should've been. But still. Kept things fresh.

 

I'm sorry guys I love EVERYTHING about BOTW and will defend it till the day I die.
